Genre : Fantasy, Psychological, Sci-Fi

Directed and written by : Christopher Nolan

In Dvd : since December 2010

10 years after the release of the astonishing movie “Memento”, the young British writer and director Christopher Nolan, delights us with this smart psychological sci-fi : Inception.
The dreams within dreams.

The seven time winner award producer, enhances not only the power of our mind when unconscious but he brings to us the beauty of architecture and the mystery of more complex thoughts.

Interpreted by Leonardo Di Caprio and supported by an excellent cast, worth itself the ticket’s price.

Di Caprio plays Cobb, an international modern thief which practices the extraction of ideas by putting himself to sleep, enters another person’s dream and steals the idea after digging deeply into its subconscious.

For his final job, Cobb will not simply steal thoughts from someone’s mind but he will be asked to implant a never existed belief into somebody’s head. To do so, he assembles a stealthy crew which will help to finalise the final state : the dream within a dream within a dream.

Ariadne (Ellen Page) will be the dream architect, Eames (Tom Hardy) will forge the true nature of characters, Yusuf (Dileep Rao) will provide the heavy-sedatives and Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) will ensure the kick will be given at right time.

The mission will not run smoothly because of Cobb’s Achilles heel, Marge (Marion Cotillard).

The complexity of travelling among minds added to the uncertainty of your perception of reality requires its audience to remain on the edge of their seats throughout the entire movie.

It will be hard sometimes to understand whether you’re in a dream or reality.

2H30min of your precious time that will leave you pondering for days, even weeks after you have left the cinema. Good acting, great writing and great directing, make this movie one of a kind.
